Five for Friday 7-17-15

fiveforfriday2_thumb[3]_thumb[2]
As I sit here typing this blog post I realize there are only 2 more Fridays after this one before school starts back!!! I can not believe how fast this summer has gone by!! I have enjoyed the time off to spend with family and friends! I must admit that I am getting excited about meeting my new class of kinders!! I have a ton of new things planned for this year!!
I love recapping my week with Doodle Bugs Teaching Five for Friday link up!

I definitely stepped out of my comfort zone this week!
On Monday I presented at our district's Technology conference. I was asked to share how I use technology in my classroom.  One of their favorite ways to incorporate technology is using QR codes. So I shared with other teachers how I use QR codes in my classroom and also how they could create their own. After getting over my initial nervousness I really enjoyed the session ha!! Plus I got to go to a session on a flipped classroom that was great! I may use some of the ideas when I have a substitute in the classroom!

Even though I didn't get to attend the TPT Vegas conference last week I have enjoyed hearing about it from all the teachers that were there. They have shared some great advice and wonderful inspiration and it makes you feel apart of it! I will be there next year! #teamtptvegas2016!!! One of the things I have loved is finding my tribe! Connecting with teachers from other states and even other countries has been an amazing experience! If you are not a part of a tribe you need to run to facebook/instagram and #findyourtribe!
I am so glad that I found my #kindertribe! We have some GREAT things planned for you!!!!!! If you teach kindergarten you need to join our tribe! Search #kindertribe on facebook to find us and join the amazing group of teachers!

I have loved getting to spend time with my friends this week! They even let me shop at the target dollar spot Thursday night. That's true friendship HA!!!!! I have the BEST friends a girl could have! They are always there for me in the good times and in the bad. They are there to say hey your a rock star and sometimes to say that's not a great choice! I have some friends that I have been friends with for 20 years and some for only a few years. Even though some of us are in different  stages in our lives...they have babies and I have a 20 year old we enjoy our time together! BONUS is I get to catch up on baby loving anytime I want!!
Here are a few pics of my most favorite kiddos in the world. I couldn't love them anymore if they were my own! They are more like nieces and nephews than my kids of my friends:)
