Five For Friday- 5-27-16

I can't believe it's the last Friday of the 2015-2016 school year!!!! I just finished my 16th year of teaching! I can honestly say I love teaching more today than when I started. This week has been filled with last minute craziness, mounds of paperwork, report cards, cumulative records and lots of kiddos to keep up with. I am ready for summer but I will miss my sweet, sweet kinders so very much.
On Monday we celebrated the retirement of one of our kinder teachers. She has taught for 29 years! We had so much fun getting together and celebrating a wonderful teaching career! She will be greatly missed:)

On Tuesday night my daughter and I attended the high school graduation of my beautiful cousins..more like my nieces! There were 364 graduates in there class!
My kinders made a list of things that my new kinders next year need to know about kindergarten. I love the things they shared and can't wait to read it with my new group at meet the teacher in August. My teacher heart is full knowing that my kiddos know they are loved and that they had fun in kindergarten!

I had the wonderful privilege of watching my 5th class graduate high school Thursday night! I love seeing them reach this milestone. I know each and every one of them will do great things with their lives. I love that I got to be a small part of their educational experience!! Congrats to the class of 2016!!
How do you know it's the last Friday of the school year...this teacher was up before her alarm clock went off, clocked in early and has been singing all morning. Don't get me wrong I love, love, love my job and these kinders have been amazing... BUT who isn't ready for summer?!?!?!?!?!
A few more little things to complete before this day is over then is rest and relaxation for the next 9 weeks!! Look out summer teachers are coming!!!
I hope you all have a WONDERFUL Friday!
Head over to Doodle Bugs Teaching to link up and share your Five for Friday!
